Harmony of Hope

SARU with the warm assistance and fund of the international singer Dave Matthews established a choir program for children living in refugee camps in Al Bekaa, aiming to provide children with a creative outlet, promote emotional well-being, and foster a sense of community.

This project is motivated by a belief in the transformative, healing, and regenerative power of arts education, and its profound and lasting impact on young people.

SARU provided a safe space for children to express their emotions, heal from trauma, and find solace in music. Music and vocal coaches provided for 40 girls and boys with choir techniques training at the refugee camps in Al Bekaa, Lebanon.

Choir project fostered a sense of belonging, created a supportive environment where children formed connections, built friendships, and felt part of a community.

“I am very happy to participate in the choir, I have new friends and I want to come here every day.”
