Let’s talk to Be aims to empower girls, boys, and women with the knowledge, skills, and support systems necessary to challenge societal norms, advocate for their rights, and actively contribute to ending child marriage within their communities.

The project aims to tackle the issue of child marriage by empowering girls, women and their communities to prevent and eradicate this harmful practice. The project recognizes that child marriage affects both girls and boys and seeks to address the underlying factors that perpetuate this harmful tradition. By focusing on education, awareness, and community engagement, the project aims to create a lasting impact and transform societal attitudes towards child marriage.

Awareness

Provide comprehensive awareness programs to girls, boys, women, and community members about the negative consequences of child marriage on individuals, families, and society as a whole. Foster understanding of gender equality, human rights, and the importance of consent and choice in relationships.

Community Engagement

Engage community leaders, parents, religious leaders, and other influential stakeholders in dialogue and awareness campaigns to challenge cultural norms and traditional practices that perpetuate child marriage. Encourage community-led initiatives to promote gender equality, girl’s education, and the importance of delaying marriage until adulthood.

Carrying out an activity called (Problems and Solutions Tree) with the aim of urging women to first identify, recognize and prioritize their difficulties and problems, then search for solutions suitable to their situation in the surrounding community.
